You Gotta Be In It to Win It!!

So as most of you know, a couple weeks ago MarketLeverage went crazy and promoted a huge number of contests on the net giving away a very nice prize package.

They contacted about 10 or so big name bloggers and offered to sponsor a contest giving away the prize package. Of course, wanting to get a chance at winning the loot I signed up for just about every contest that I could find. Although knowing that my chances of winning were very slim considering I have never won such a nice prize package in my life.

I had signed up for Ian Fernando’s ML contest and waited. I got an email about a week ago claiming that I had won!!! At first I thought Ian was lying and was just trying to pull my chain, but after being contacted by Debbie over at MarketLeverage I knew that I had truly one. So last friday, Debbie shipped out my prizes and I just received them about 1 1/2 hours ago. Of course I was excited to tear apart the what I thought was going to be a small box. Ian had advertised that we would get a Flip Mino, iPod Nano, $200 Amex Rewards card, and a 2GB USB pen.

However, when I saw the box I thought that the FedEx guy had the wrong address. The box measured about 2 feet tall and about 1 1/2 feet wide. When I first saw it, I had no idea that it was my prize package. So I of course tore open the package to find a very nice Nike duffel bag with the prizes inside! I had no idea that ML would be sending extra stuff so it really caught me off guard.

I pulled the duffel bag from the box and opened it up. Low and behold, even more surprises!! I pull out a regular t-shirt, a sweatshirt, a VERY nice Nike Golf t-shirt and a hat. All adorned with MarketLeverage logos ;)

So after pulling the clothing out, I find even more surprises inside. I find the USB pen, the Flip, the iPod Nano, the Amex Rewards card and not to be outdone, a carrying case for the Flip along with a tripod for the Flip!!

Talk about a very nice surprise. I had almost bought the tripod and other accessories for the Flip as soon as I heard that I had won Ian Fernando’s contest. I would just like to thank Ian for hosting the contest and a HUGE HUGE HUGE thanks goes out to MarketLeverage for making the contest possible.
