Wow, so it has been quite some time since my last blog post. I had to put this blog on the back burner for a while and work on more important issues. But I am back now and you should start to see a lot more posting and a lot more activity!
As a quick update, I am unfortunately back to working again. Ugh! I hate the job, I work at a Gottschalk’s Distribution Center and I unload the cardboard boxes containing the merchandise from the semi trailers all day long. Very monotonous, hard physical labor and it only pays $9.00 an hour. Sure that is more then minimum wage, but I would rather make less money with a job that isn’t so physical. I typically move around 2,000 a day and that usually equals out to about 15,000-20,000 pounds. So yeah, it’s a lot of bending, reaching, grunting for very little reward.
Reading back in the archives you can see that I had started up in affiliate marketing sometime in late May. I haven’t had much success, if any. I whipped up a site, started up a Yahoo PPC campaign and have made only 3 sales so far. Which puts me in the profit, but only about $10. Unfortunately, I picked the wrong niche or I just can’t seem to find the right keywords. I have tried 3 different campaigns so far and none of them have been successful, I really thought that this last one was gonna be my big break but it isn’t looking to turn out that way.
So instead of focusing and working on that site, I have started up and have been working quite a bit on my web hosting reviews and deals site. While the web hosting industry is extremely competitive, I am hoping that by writing unique and easy to follow web hosting articles that I can bring in free organic traffic from the search engines. I started up the site early July and I have not seen any traffic yet, which is OK. Google is still working on getting things indexed.
I’ve been working on finding back links and reviews for the site. Nothing yet, but I won’t stop trying. I have to keep pushing along because if I don’t, I may miss out on a great opportunity!
This post is just a quick update, I WILL be posting more frequently and will providing a lot more interesting content. What about exactly? Mostly information related to affiliate marketing as that is what I am really interested in right now, but I may throw up some random posts just to keep things interesting ;)

You site should be indexed more often, by Google and other search engines the more frequently you post, and keep the site up to date. It will also get your PageRank up which is always a bonus!

Yeah, I have pretty much every single post indexed already from when I first started and was posting about every other day. I plan to keep that same schedule at least posting every other day, if not more depending on what comes up.
