AMR #4 - Slight Change of Plans
Ok, so while I was busy entering in the host’s information for their plans I thought of something. Currently I was just entering in very basic information and wasn’t going into much detail at all. But then I thought, hrmm, should I provide less hosts but more information for each host? Or should I provide more hosts but less information? So I asked a few people in my family what they thought, along with a few online affiliate marketers to get their opinions. I’ve decided to just go ahead and at the beginning provide 10 hosts with some detailed information instead of providing a lot of hosts with a little bit of information.
I figure this should give me a good base start along with writing a few guides and coming up with some questions to post into the FAQ section. The sooner I can get the site live, the sooner it can start getting indexed into Google. Of course it’s always smart to have a site built and ready to go before you ask Google to index it. After I get the 10 hosts into the site along with a few articles, I will go ahead and maybe add in a host a day, or maybe every 2 days. Or maybe a host one day, skip a day, an article that day, skip a day, another host that day and so forth as to slowly build up content and to keep the bots interested. Still need to work on my keywords as well, but like I stated in my other posts, it is kind of difficult to get the keywords worded into each of the host’s pages, so once I get those done, I will start some keyword research and then use the articles and FAQ section to fill the site.
My plan today was to get everything sorted out and to get at least 5 hosts entered into the site, but I really needed a break from the site today. Not to mention, I just didn’t really feel like working on it at all to be honest. I will start working on it a little bit after finishing up this post, hopefully I can get about 3 hosts in before it gets too late. Then tomorrow I will really focus on getting the 7 other hosts on the site, start the keyword research, and then work on the articles.
The change of plans worked out to my advantage actually. Currently I am just going to each host’s site and gathering random bits of information. So basically, their is different information for each host’s page….not good. I now realize that considering people are basically going to be coming to my site to compare hosting plans, that I need to have the same information for each host, whether or not the host actually provides that information.
Are you looking for a job? What kind of job are you looking for? I found a great site that is all about Heavy Equipment Jobs a few days ago.
