While most of the posts on this blog will be about things I am interested in or something that I feel I should express my opinion on, I figure I should at least tell you a little bit about myself. (You did click on this link after all so you must be interested, right?)
I live in Central California and I am 23 years old. I’m a tall fit guy that loves to work on websites, listen to metal music, go cycling to keep in shape and anything else that I may deem as fun.
As far as the interests I mentioned above…..
Web Design
I took a few classes during high school on how to build websites. I’ve always been interested in computers and my high school was geared towards technology so I took every class basically that dealt with computers. Back then they were teaching to use the dreaded <table> tag to build website which nowadays is poor design. After taking a few years off after high school from computers I got back into web design.
I started looking around online and teaching myself the ways of the masters. Learning that the <table> tag wasn’t meant to layout a website meant I had to essentially relearn everything over again. It seemed somewhat daunting but after spending a few months with it I became quite good at it and have been honing my skills ever since. Most people say that I’m pretty damn good when it comes to working with designs and I attribute that to the fact that I spent my late teenage years at home looking and editing code instead of partying and drinking. The former being a much more valuable way to spend time if you ask me.
I currently own about 8 sites scattered around the web on various topics, more about those later. Pursuing web design as a career has become a new interest to me due largely to the fact that I won’t have to be tied down anywhere. You can pretty much go wherever you please and as long as you have a computer and internet connection you can work. Thus, I am currently working on setting up a web design portfolio online and more about that will be posted here once it is ready.
Most of my web design interest is geared towards WordPress which is a wonderful open source 100% free piece of software that lets you publish content online. In fact, that is what I use on this site! Listening to metal music
You might be thinking, what the fuck? I’ve never known a web designer that listens to metal music. Well you’ve never met me apparently! I do in fact love listening to metal though most people can’t seem to fathom that I can actually concentrate while listening to it.

Cycling
While I attribute most of leanness to my high metabolism I am not a total slouch. I love to hope on my bike and go for a ride every now and then. It’s a good way to help clear your thoughts while getting some great exercise and a good tan. I own a Cannondale 613 and while it isn’t the best bike out there, it is definitely much easier to ride on the road with versus a mountain bike.
Other Fun Stuff
Well that part is mostly due to why I am starting up this blog again. I am not too sure how many people will exactly be interested in what I like or what I have to say but I am not concerned about that.
